Operation
Three
ECG leads and apnea sensor are fixed on the chest area. A thermal sensor is
inserted into the rectum or esophagus for core temperature
sensing ; or alternately, the thermal sensor can be attached on the skin
surface. Three digital displays indicate the heart rate, respiration rate and
temperature. It operates on mains power, or internal battery.
Audio visual
alarm whenever the heart rate or respiration rate or Apnea period exceeds the
pre-set period.
